Task Bar Hero Farming Guide

A measurement-first farming method for choosing the right stage, improving clear consistency and turning each upgrade into more resources per hour.

The short version

Quick answer: Farm the highest stage your team clears quickly and consistently, not the highest stage unlocked. Measure several runs, include failures, and re-test after major gear or rune upgrades.

Choose stages by resources per hour

A high stage can look efficient because each clear pays more, but long waves, boss stalls and failures reduce the hourly total. A lower stage that finishes much faster often produces more boxes, gold and experience over the same time.

Time at least five clears. Record the average, not the best run, and include any failure or resurrection delay. Move up only when the new stage keeps a similar rhythm.

Remember

The correct farm stage is a speed threshold, not a badge of progression.

Improve gold farming

Gold farming improves through faster stage completion, relevant runes and a clean inventory loop. The team should spend as little time as possible stalled on a boss or waiting for a fallen hero.

Use gold to improve the systems that increase future clear speed before buying large amounts of convenience storage. When a new rune or weapon cuts clear time, return to the stage list and measure again.

Target useful drops

When two stages have similar clear times, choose the one that drops a material or item category needed by the next build upgrade. Targeted farming reduces the number of resources that sit unused.

Do not remain on a weak drop stage forever. Once the required material is secured, return to the best general progression route or move to a better source unlocked later.

Offline and unattended farming checklist

  • Leave enough inventory space for the expected session.
  • Use a stage with no recent failures.
  • Confirm the intended skills and formation before stepping away.
  • Avoid a push stage that only clears with perfect timing.
  • Review the loot and Cube plan before the inventory becomes the bottleneck.

When solo Ranger farming wins

A highly geared Ranger can clear some late stages alone more cleanly than a full team. This is most useful when weaker heroes die, disturb enemy spacing or change skill timing. It is not a universal rule and should not replace a strong progression formation.

Compare the same stage with full team and solo Ranger across multiple runs. If solo is faster but fails often, the expected return may still be worse. Reliability belongs in the calculation.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best stage to farm in Task Bar Hero?

It is the highest stage you can clear quickly and reliably. The exact stage changes with gear, runes, formation and the material you need.

Should I farm the highest unlocked stage?

Not automatically. If the stage takes much longer or fails, a lower stage can generate more resources over an hour.

When should I farm with solo Ranger?

Test it in late-game content after Ranger has strong gear. Use solo only when average clear time and reliability beat the full formation.
