Task Bar Hero Items

A decision guide for the loot pile: which bases to equip, which stats work together, and which items belong in the Cube.

The short version

Quick answer: Judge an item by role, base type, level and coherent stats before rarity. Keep gear that advances a defined build; recycle duplicates and mismatched drops through the Cube.

The item rarity ladder

Task Bar Hero uses a long rarity ladder that begins with Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary, then continues through higher tiers including Immortal, Arcana, Beyond, Celestial, Divine and Cosmic. Higher rarity creates more potential, but does not guarantee the right item for a build.

A coherent lower-rarity weapon can outperform a higher-rarity drop with the wrong damage family or poor level. Compare what the item changes on the active hero rather than equipping by color alone.

What to keep

  • Weapons that match the main carry and improve clear time immediately.
  • High-level bases with two or more stats that support the same build.
  • Resistance or survival pieces that solve a specific stage failure.
  • Rare materials or effects that would cost more to recreate than to store.
  • One alternative set for farming when it uses a different speed or area setup.

What to recycle

Duplicate low-level items, mismatched damage bonuses and gear replaced by a clearly stronger base are good Cube inputs. Separate anything currently equipped or reserved before filling a synthesis batch.

Do not recycle only by item level. A useful stat combination can survive several levels, while a higher item with scattered bonuses may never fit a team. Inventory decisions should follow the build, not the other way around.

Steam Market and tradable items

The game includes Steam Market integration for tradable items. Market price is not the same as build value. An expensive rarity can be a poor fit for the current hero, while an inexpensive item may complete an important stat combination.

Before listing or buying, confirm the exact item, level and modifiers. Items listed for sale leave the in-game inventory until they are removed from the listing and returned through the game’s item flow.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cosmic always the best item rarity?

Cosmic is at the top of the listed rarity ladder, but the best item still needs the right base, level and modifiers for the build.

Should I keep every high-rarity item?

Keep scarce items until you understand their use, but do not assume every high-rarity drop belongs in the active build. Compare stats and role.

Can Task Bar Hero items be traded?

The game supports Steam Market trading for eligible items. Check the item and current market listing details before making a decision.
